Afternoon of the Elves
This book wasn't exactly what I expected. Hilary becomes friends with the outcast Sara-Kate after Sara-Kate shows her an elf village in her yard. Is the elf village real or not? Is Sara-Kate an elf? These are all questions Hilary has as well as the readers of this book. The realization of who Sara-Kate really is both surprising and sad.

Apart from the other books that i have read so far,i think that this book deals with an extra ordinary friendship that are rarely seen and the enchantment that it provides.It can be an excellent read for those who see friendship as something that has no boundations.

We're performing this play in my Speech and Debate class. I find it one to pull on your heart strings. It's just a little girl who had to grow up to fast,
