George Bush, Dark Prince of Love

This book is a hilarious read about Rosemary, a former convict, and her obcession with George H.W.. Bush. The book is a dark but hilarious read about GW and Rosemary's atypical life. It is very short at 159 pages and I read it very quickly.

Angela and Diabola

Angela and Diabola are twins who are complete opposites; Angela is very, very good and Diabola is very, very bad. It is a very fast read and also pretty funny. The book is essentially a fable on good and evil. Diabola's badness sometimes disturbed me but in a fairy tale- like way.

Replay

Jeff dies in 1988 and wakes up in his college life in 1963. He has to live his life over. He dies and wakes up in college again. He keeps living his life over and over. Interesting concept. I really liked this book. It was interesting to see the different things he did with his life each time. It really made me think about what I would do if something like this happened to me. I really liked this book.

Nickel and Dimed

Finished December 1
I read the first few chapters of this book 4 years ago at Powell's books in Portland and received it that year for Christmas. Finally got around to reading it. The author works at several low paying jobs (maid, waitress, Wal-mart employee) etc around the country and tries to live on that salary only. I don't have as much to say about this book that I thought I would. Interesting concept and interesting to hear what some of these jobs are really like.

Behind

I haven't posted anything for the month of December. I am going to try to get that done later today and then post my top 10 for 2006 and stats.
